Grandpa

My grandfather, Gregory A. Drummond, was a wonderful person. An American History teacher, extremely active member of the community, loving, charismatic, and overall a great person. He loved everyone, a trait hardly found now.
He has been a huge inspiration to me. He sparked my interest in American History, he inspired me to work in the Community, read( alot!), he was probably the reason that I speak my mind and my opinion (so I guess he inspired this blog), he has also made me realize what anyone can do to help is enough. He has been a big part of me and he will never know how much of a part he is.
I must say that although I don't think of you all the time, Grandpa, I do think alot of you when something sparks a memory. Such as a discussion in any Social Studies class, that I think that you might have had fun intervening in;or when I go to the JFF and work, where I think of all the times that you were in the bank; And sometimes when me and Grandma are together and I think "Man, Grandpa would have loved this"; and even when Grandma and I discuss things that you would have liked. Especially, when it came to my grades and what I learned in American History class :). I like to think that you have made me do well in that class, purely, because you enjoyed the topic as much as I do.

All I can say here is:
This one is to you Grandpa, and to all of the things you have done.

Happy Birthday!
